Reflect and Celebrate
As we come to the close of the year, December often brings a mix of emotions. There may be moments of warmth and connection, and also moments of grief, exhaustion, or longing. If this season feels complicated for you, nothing is wrong with you. Your nervous system is responding to a year of experiences, and it deserves care. When things seem overwhelming, instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?” ask “what is my nervous system responding to and what does it need to regulate?”
At Soulshine Sanctuary, we believe healing is not about reaching a finish line. It’s about noticing the small moments of growth, resilience, and self-awareness that quietly add up over time.
Sit With It
November invites us inward as the days grow quieter, the light softens, and life naturally slows. It creates time and space to hear what’s been waiting beneath the surface. Our theme this month is “Sit with It” - but what does that actually entail?
To sit with it means allowing our thoughts, sensations, emotions, or memories to arise without immediately trying to fix, soothe, distract, or rationalize them away.
It doesn’t ask us to stay in pain—only to pause long enough to understand what the pain is trying to say.
Permission to Pause
October rests at the heart of autumn — the air is crisp, the leaves turn to fire, and nature gently reminds us that letting go can be beautiful. Embracing the shift.
During this time, we’re invited to slow down, find warmth within, and reconnect with what truly sustains us.
