I believe every person has an innate capacity to heal when they feel seen, safe, and supported. My role isn't to "fix" people. It's to create a space where they can rediscover the resilience, wisdom, and strength that trauma may have hidden.

Soulshine Sanctuary is more than a counselling practice. It's a community built on the belief that healing is possible, that growth can be gentle, and that everyone deserves a place where they can exhale, feel accepted, and begin again.

Because I don't just want people to cope with life—I want them to experience it with greater peace, presence, and wholeness.

As a therapist, I specialize in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, from early childhood wounds to single-incident events. My primary approach is EMDR, a powerful, evidence-based therapy that gently addresses the root of distress and negative self-beliefs. I weave this work with mindfulness and meditation to support emotional regulation and inner awareness. My approach is holistic, compassionate, and strength-based. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen and supported. You already carry the wisdom and resilience to grow — my role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with clarity, balance, and a deeper sense of peace.

I started Soulshine Sanctuary because I believe healing should be more than surviving—it should be about coming home to yourself.

Throughout my years as a trauma therapist, I saw that while clinical counselling is deeply valuable, healing doesn't only happen through conversation. Trauma lives in the body, shapes our nervous system, and influences how we move through the world. True healing often requires more than insight; it requires experiences that help us feel safe enough to reconnect with ourselves.

I created Soulshine Sanctuary as a place where evidence-based therapy and holistic wellness could exist together. A place where EMDR, mindfulness, movement, yoga, creative expression, and compassionate connection work hand in hand to support the whole person—not just their symptoms.
